Doug has been coaching 29 years at all levels of the game. Coach Dowell has coached 7 Team BC teams and has won a bronze medal at the National Championships. Coach Dowell has coached at the College level and has had the opportunity to work with a multitude of players and alumni who have played or are playing at the CCAA, USports, NCAA or Professional levels in Europe, Turkey, China and Japan. 

Coach Dowell started the first true High School Prep Program in Western Canada at BC Christian and one of the first 3 programs of its type in Canada. 

His cast of Alumni is vast has developed players to play at all levels of the game. He has coaching certification in Canada and the US and has been asked to work with players, coaches  and teams all around the world. 

His BC Christian Academy Prep Program assisted players in getting over $3.8 million in scholarships over its duration.

Basketball has always been a passion of mine.However, growing up I was not able to aford playing club basketball. So when the opportunity to lead and grow in the game through coaching presented itself, it was something that I could not refuse.And one thing that I learned is why I coach is the impact I have on the kids not only on the court but off the court as well that just continue to refuel that passion for the game of basketball.

Coach Lionel brings international experience right to your doorstep. He is internationally trained and a former member of the Brunei junior national team. In addition to Canada, he has coached in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei, working with athletes across all levels. He is a certified Level 3 NCCP Coach and three-time Canadian College national champion. 

With over 25 years of coaching experience, Coach Lionel specializes in doubles and mixed doubles, though he has also developed many outstanding singles players. His passion goes far beyond the court.

That explosive style helped him secure gold medals in 3 out of 4 years at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championships.
